"Why we love what we do"

First and foremost, we’d like to state emphatically that we do NOT believe that what’s on the outside is more important than what’s on the inside. In fact, we believe quite the opposite. How you feel is far more important than how you look. However, the two are intimately entwined. The way in which we evaluate our own appearance has a direct impact on the way we feel. People who are happy with their appearance have a better outlook on life. They are more confident, have higher self-esteem, and are more social. When you look in the mirror and are happy with what you see, it’s reflected in your actions and interactions throughout the day. Our goal is to help you look and feel the way you want to look and feel.
Dr. Mayo developed his love and passion for non-surgical, non-invasive cosmetic procedures many years ago through his own personal experience with this mind-body connection. He would look in the mirror and see a face that looked much older than he felt. “I didn’t mind getting older, but I wasn’t aging gracefully. I had a deep furrow between my eyes and everyone always thought I was upset and frowning. The dark circles below my eyes made me look as though I was in a constant state of sleep deprivation. I just wanted to look more the way I felt.” With a few simple procedures, years dropped away and he felt re-vitalized. He thought “how amazing it would be to give everyone the opportunity to experience such a positive impact on their sense of well-being”.

Second, we’d like everyone to realize there’s nothing wrong with doing something nice for themselves.

Great advances in products and methods over the last several years have made these procedures very safe and effective. Cosmetic medical procedures are now the most common medical procedure performed. Still, there is a presumption on the part of some people that cosmetic procedures are all about vanity. It’s not vanity to want to put your best foot forward. Many people exercise daily to look and feel good. Others pursue diet after diet, or buy the latest clothing styles, for the same reason. No one should ever feel any sense of embarrassment for wanting to look and feel their best!
